20471120's Spring/Summer 1998 "YIKES" collection boldly reformulates Neon Genesis Evangelion's cyborg aesthetic into wearable attire. The collection invokes biomechanical motifs characteristic of Evangelion: the vein pattern on the T-shirt references Episode 23 ("Tears" / Rei III) of Neon Genesis Evangelion, while the typography further alludes to the recognisable serif font used in the series’ title cards.

The collection presentation made a galvanising first impression on its 5000 attendees, with models skating onto the runway from a helicopter entrance. The 'Veins' T-Shirt is a souvenir of the collection: at the end of the show, loot boxes containing Evangelion-themed goods — including this shirt — were made available to guests.
